Newegg's thoughts on the the restock of the asus 970 strix

In any case, the demand on these cards has been ridiculous.. It's not a huge surprise that they're completely sold out and unable to get more.

Welp... You could get the 980 or an EVGA or MSI, etc... But seriously wtf Newegg? Don't like making money?

I'd say it's probably related to either difficulty getting stock, or a higher percentage of returns. I haven't heard of any problems with the card so this is merely a shot in the dark.

I highly doubt they won't restock it at all. Either way the Strix is not actually that great compared to the new MSI cooler or the Gigabyte.
