What is this sound my GPU makes?

Go to solution Solved by TDP_Equinox,

Alright well I figured out it was my hard drive after all!

Seems to be running fine though so far...

hard drives are not supposed to make that sound....

Back up your data ASAP and replace it.

And since the problem is solved mark the topic as solved please :)

Probably just your HDD. My Seagate parks its head when idle and you hear a 'click' when it activates again.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example. The True Path of the Feathered One. ~ Dimboble-dubabob III

Yes it is actually. Did i say my HDD was dying? I can't recall saying that. Seagate drives shut down when they are idling and then spin up when 'activated' so to speak. It is called head parking. Saves power apparently.
