$1100/£700 PC?

Go to solution Solved by Demons Wrath,

I'm wanting to buy my first fully custom built pc. However, I'm on a budget of £700/$1100 and i'm wondering what you guys think would be the best pc for that price(I have already got a few ideas :) ). I will be using the pc mainly for gaming, however I also need it for Photoshop, illustrator etc. A red and black theme is key as well as windows 8.1 and a keyboard. Any help will be great, thanks :P

Not build focused on looks. There is still room in your budget for keyboard but pick it for yourself as I dont know which one do you want. No CPU overclocking but a lot of performance. You may even fit SSD in here if you get cheap keyboard.

Get Windows from G2A.com preferably (but you get only key and you will have to download ISO and make your own bootable DVD/USB).

I think it is more worth it to get XEON than 4690k when they are the same price. You may lost OC ability but I dont think that it is really worth it over hyperthreading.

i agree, it performs the same in gaming and everyday use, even slower the i5, but much kids around don't know it or tested it, so all they know is K xD .. but hard to convince some 1 to get a xeon when all others suggest i5k. cuz after all is an i7 non k

Yup. Also technicaly you can OC it if you know what you are doing by using BCLK but that is not really recommended (but you will probably not get it over 3.8-3.9 GHz on all cores which is plenty for any game even 3.4GHz stock).

this is way better and cheaper. it will outperform the fx8320e or non e or even fx8350, the fx serie is way too old. the xeon is basically an i7 at the price of i5 which they perform the same in any way possible, the xeon may perform even better in some cases.

i wish they discover in the future somehow so the color build and fancy looking shit around the case and inside or even a fancy case could improve your performance at least 666%
