Are these good for external storage for the Shield Tablet? Will they load games fast enough? They read at 90MB/s.

the normal ones really are enough but as MicroSDs go SanDisk is definitely one of the best if not the best manufacturers

sandisk is good and loading times on mobile devices mostly depend on the device rather than the sd card, so you might get away with getting a cheaper card

Yeap, but you likely won't need Extreme Pro, SanDisk Ultra will be perfectly fine.

Games that run off the SHIELD Tablet itself will likely install to the internal memory, so not too much worry about the speed of the SD card. SanDisk is a great MicroSD manufacturer as they make their own NAND, however like @EcoBoost said, an Extreme Pro would be a waste of money, and I also agree the SanDisk Ultra would be a better choice
