Corsair Sleeved Cables

Vanderburg

These cables look really clean and nice and I don't trust myself not to totally screw up sleeving my own. My understanding is that Corsair is a rebranded Seasonic, so do these cables work on other brands?

For reference: http://www.corsair.com/en/power-supply-units/psu-accessories-1/professional-series-ax850-ax750-ax650-individually-sleeved-modular-cables-blue.html

I've been thinking the same thing but I've heard that some cables are wired slightly differently, don't quite understand how that'd work if each cable is individually sleeved going to the 24pin...

They are cables, as long as they have the same connectors they will work just fine, and corsair does not skimp on quality!

Right, we understand they are cables, but I don't know if they are the same connectors, which is what I am asking. (Some modular PSUs have different connections on the PSU side)

May want to read this thread about the cables working on a Seasonic PSU: http://www.overclock.net/t/1217163/corsair-sleeved-cables-on-seasonic-x-series, and right from CorsairGeorge's post regarding about it over at OCN: http://www.overclock.net/t/1203961/mt-corsair-silently-launches-individually-sleeved-cables/180#post_16388301

So, in other words, only Corsair PSUs (i.e. AX/AXi/HX).

Ah, this thread was perfect, thank you. Looks like I'm sticking with Corsair if I want to use these cables (and I do).

Corsair i PSUs use different cables to the old PSUs! Bear that in mind!

The sleeved cables are pretty awesome, I have them on my rig. Pretty good quality sleeving and saves me alot of time sleeving the entire PSU, which is a plus.

Internals are the same, the connectors are different.

Seems like you've already found that though...
