Best Audio Setup?

Phuizour

G'day m8

Just wondering if you blokes and Shellars are able to tell me what's the best audio setup you have found to work? I would like a microphone that is very clear and a headset that's is nice and comfy and has good audio, I have been told by m8's that Modmics are the best option to go but I thought I should ask you guys.

I haven't really had much experience with different headphones (most of which were low quality). The Beyerdynamic MMX 300 was pretty good though, only problem is that it's not cheap. and the included "sound card" isn't very good but thankfully you don't have to use it.

Probably your best bet.  Look around online and see if you can get them for cheaper if you can.

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming-7

You don't really need an amp with that motherboard. you should be fine with http://www.amazon.com/Beyerdynamic-DT-990-Pro-250-Professional-Acoustically-Applications/dp/B0011UB9CQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1413738292&sr=1-3 and a mod mic.
