So here some pics of my current system. I maybe upgrade to a 980 but i probably won't upgrade my cpu because I'm fine with it and I don't really use a lot of cpu power, im fine with my 3770k and no cpu really wowed me lately. the only reason to upgrade to Z97 i think is the fact that you have a lot more sata3 ports.

 

 

Since I'm traveling a lot I'm going to buy a gamer notebook. I'm thinking of a XMG C504 or a P505  (http://www.mysn.de/detail.asp?KategorienOrder=010;020;015;001&bestellnr=XMG-P505)

• GPU:  EVGA GTX 670 FTW
• RAM: 16GB Kingston 1333Mhz (4x4GB)
• MoBo: AsRock Pro3
• SSD:  Crucial M500 240GB
• HDD1:  WD RED 2TB
• HDD2:  Seagate Barracuda 2TB
• HDD3:  Seagate Barracuda 1TB
• Case:  CM HAF X Nvidia Edition
• PSU: Corsair RM850 (i know its waay overkill but it was a special deal^^)

 

 

Displays:

1x BenQ XL2420TE - 144Hz 1080p

1x LG Flatron W2240 - 60hz 1080p

 

Mouse: Cyborg RAT 7 with a Roccat Apuri

Keyboard: CM Storm Quickfire TK (MX Brown)

Sound: Logitech Z553

rly nice, you still can keep the cpu for at least 5 more years if he doesn't die or something.. also yes you do need a new gpu if you're planning on ultra all the games or 4k.
