What GPU Should I Get?

Hi all,

 

I'm having a little trouble looking for the right gnu for me. I'm looking for a card that can handle most of the current games on high or even ultra 1080p settings a a constant fps of 60 or so. Also, my budget is around 200-300 USD. I'm not sure if a card in that prie range can handle games at these settings, so please let me know if the price range is a little ridiculous for my needs.

Location and budget please. The GTX 970 is a great choice but a Radeon R9 290 would be pretty good too.

He asked for currency, availability, total cost including shipping and the highest clock frequency EVGA GTX 970 is the best choice you can make.
