Im not sure if this is the right place to post this but anyway, im building a computer and my parts are on their way, but when they get here how do i know that all my parts will be used during the computers processes. I understand this question is a bit amateur but i just want to know if my computer will harness all the parts within it.

My parts are-

i5 4690k

EVGA GTX 970

Corsair Rm 550W PSU

Samsung 840 evo 250gb ssd

2x4gb Corsair vengance pro 1866mhz

AS rock extreme4 z97 motherboard

Is there some software i have to download to ensure all parts are woking in tandem?

Trust me, you will know if they are working. Although if you don't know much, knowing if the GPU is working properly might be harder. Just make sure you install the GPU and motherboard drivers.

CPU - FX 8350 @ 4.5GHZ GPU - Radeon 5700  Mobo - M5A99FX Pro R2.0 RAM - Crucial Ballistix 16GB @ 1600 PSU - Corsair CX600M CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 EVO Storage - Samsung EVO 250GB, WD Blue 1TB

Your whole machine doesn't boot if mobo or CPU isn't working. RAM problems should give error codes or beeps... and system wouldn't boot. Problem with GPU results no display or graphic bugs. Dead SSD or HDD wouldn't show on BIOS or results failed OS install, missing files etc.  Bad PSU is sometimes hard to detect on first boot. Easy thing would be when it doesn't boot at all.

After you have got windows/other OS running, get some software to check on system stats and run heavy software, benchmark or stress test. At this point (remember to install drivers and updates first) any problem with hardware is usually shown. High temps, BSODs or boots, GPU drivers crashing. Slowness... list goes on.

If you have trouble or suspect it, feel free to post forums troubleshooting section with specs and description of problem.
