Removing Odors From Plastic Bottles

I have a plastic bottle of ice tea and plan to reuse it as a water bottle. I have successfully removed the label and the sticky glue residue from the bottle. Now my next problem is how to remove the ice tea odor from inside the bottle. I have tried the hot water and soap idea and I don't have access to a bottle cleaner, any vinegar, and/or baking soda.

Any ideas on how to remove the odor for good?

Remember, should it be necessary to divide by zero, then it shall not exist, for his desserts cabinet contains 69 different types . . .  of cheesecakes and pies
Measure twice, CUT ONCE!  <_<

How can you not have access to vinegar?

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

I use Clorox. Clean the bottle of obvious grit/grime/leftovers, then fill with hot water, add a few drops (I say drops not ounces) of Clorox, close the bottle and shake it up and let it sit there for several hours if not over nite. The next day, dump the contents of the bottle and repeat the following a few times, rinse the bottle fully with cool water then dump it and rinse with hot water (tap hot, not boiling), usually three cycles of this will remove the Clorox odor as well.

Now reuse bottle.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

How can you not have access to vinegar?

Because you can mix it with bleach.

Have problem. List items capable of solving problem. Refuse to use said items. Make a thread about it. B)
