Wtf does this mean? I cant find any solutions and ive tried 2 DVD drives

you are on AHCI mode ,you either gotta install AHCI driver (which it didnt work for me ) or switch to ATA mode.

he shouldnt need to, ive always installed with AHCI enabled just fine without drivers

on laptops (specially HP laptops) its a problem and I wasnt able to get the windows to recognize any drive at all

some times on newer boards that use newer chipsets have this issue

 

@Excon go to the motherboard's website and find the "pre-boot ACHI driver or what ever its called "

also if ur running raid that also a separate driver i believe

Going through my bios, won't let me change to ATA

Friends bringing my USB DVD Drive, Ill just use that and hopefully it works
