cant find eject usb icon

Go to solution Solved by JAKEBAB,

Alright i guess ill juts leave it

just go to my computer find the drive right click and click on eject.

Im running windows 8.1 and i cant find the little "eject usb" thing is the bottom right corner. When i unplugged my iPhone it did the sound when you remove your device without ejecting this. Is there anyway to get this back. (probably the stupidest question ever but i cant figure it out)

If you know that nothing is copying to the device then there's no need to really "eject" it

"Rawr XD"

You really don't need to safely eject hardware. As long as it isn't writing any data nothing bad will happen (and if it is writing data you'll just have a corrupted file where you were writing to). But, if you really need to eject hardware, you can find the icon in the hidden icons menu at the bottom right. Click on the little up arrow and you should see it when you have anything plugged in.

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).
