Best $80~100 gaming headset? (Australia)

Hey guys, i'm after a $80-100 with 7.1 audio and a decent mic quality that doesn't make my voice like mickey mouse's.

The G35 is not amazing (source...I own one) the mic is ok, sound quality is passable, but it is not comfy,  is heavy and makes you sweaty (in my experience)

 

That said, it is not that bad and has served me well for the last few years, it is robust, and the surround sound feature works quite well, just dont expect an amazing audio experiance

 

For the Budget..you could easily buy some decent headphonesand a mic (maybe a mod mic or little lapel clip mic)

I do have to say that I have no hands on experience with the cloud outside of 5 minutes playing with it

 

Would I buy the G35 again?..no probably not

I own a pair of G35's and I'd have to say against what ShadowCaptain says I find them to be great quality as regards to sound. Comfort is great, I've done 13 hour gaming sessions in mid summer and I've not felt uncomfortable in them yet.  I will admit a little tweaking in the Equaliser Settings does help but stock sounds great (IMO). The mic itself is above average but not great. Though for that budget you'd struggle to find great mic quality with great headphones.

 

My other suggestion would be the G430's they are cheaper but only have 5:1 surround. But they use cotton blend as opposed to the "Leather" on the G35's so = more comfort + Less "sweating"??
