Lan parties in UK?

I am just wondering if there are large lan paries (ie. not a group of friend) in UK

I have not found any in Belfast, but I have not seen any around my area, although I am not too social either.

Not commonly, even then they are usually for events I believe. Why do you want one?

In my knowledge i-series (Insomnia) is biggest held in UK. Above is good collection of others, which of I've heard about Epiclan. Surprisingly quick Google search brought several sites worth checking out for finding parties in your area. Most seems to be bit out of date, but at least you will get links where to look for.

 

There might not be anything in your general area (bit like in here) but some travelling will get you either into the big ones or take a look of one of the smaller ones.

i believe there is a monthly one at Loughborough Uni or at least a regular one (I have a friend who goes there, the Uni and the Lan party)
