Add a new style for "Urls starting with http://linustechtips.com/main/"

Add this CSS

.post_body .post, .signature{color: #ffffff !important;}span{color: #ffffff !important;}    

That should solve your "not everyone knows when you copy and paste text on this forum it keeps the source color and some users view the website with inverse text colors" problem 

 

 

This seems neat, though white text has horrible bleed and I'll change it to gray. That doesn't really solve the copy and paste issue, which is still there even in day theme. I was just saying that using night theme made me more aware to how I formatted post content, instead of just ctrl+c ctrl+v ing.

got a point. It'll force all colors, including posted ones to the color you specify. Should, at least.

you can just change the check box in the settings for the reply box to past as plain text by default and just ctrl+v all you want still

oh what i was talking about first is if you click the gear on the top right of the replay box icons there is a paste as plain text by default option in that that saves and you don't have to worry about it any more

Believe it or not, but people are not deliberately changing the color of their text to make you unable to read their posts. When people copy/paste text it sometimes has color info with it and since the users don't use the night theme, they don't notice it.
You went out of the way to change the theme, and now you're demanding that people should go out of their way to double check their posts to make sure you can read them? No... That's not how the world works. If you deviate from the norm then you will have to deal with some things not catering to you. Or better yet, download and install the script called "Dark Theme Fixer".
 
What I don't get is why anyone would want to use the night theme to begin with. All it does is make the forum less functional (things like the lock and moved icons don't appear), and it makes text harder to read (black text on white background is easier to read than white text on black background). Never mind it's light gray on dark gray background, so it's pretty good when it comes to readability. It looks awful though. I mean just look at this. This does not look good.
 
 

 
 
That feel when you spend quite a bit of time making sure the attached file has the same ID as it has in the screenshot, but nobody will notice that nice paradox you created unless you point it out to them ;_;

I'm normally not rude. The joke was I was full on ranting but behind their back while acting like it was all good in text they could read.

The middle one was serious though.
