AIOs aren't built to be opened so there aren't really any joints or connections that are likely to be leak-prone. It can happen, but it would take a pretty big manufacturing defect. Plus, I've heard of Corsair (and possibly others) replacing components damaged by leaks.

I am gonna build a x99 5820k PC and im friggin scared of leaks from closed loop ruining my PC

Someone here tell me the chances of leak?

i have built many pc's with both closed loops and custom loops. I have yet to have a leak from a single one so i would say its extremely slim

Just like everyone else said, if done properly, it won't happen.

 

To reiterate what others have said:

 

Don't be a dumbass

Do your research

Watch others

Take precautionary measures

Go slow
