Good Evening Everyone,

1. Budget & Location
I live in America, and have a Micro center easily accessible. My budget including the monitor will probably honestly end up being 600-700, but I would prefer it be as cheap as possible. Hopefully from 500-600 if possible.

2. Aim
The aim is a cheap, fast computer for my parents who only use it to browse the internet and watch videos.

3. Monitors
1 Monitor, probably a 27" or a 24".

4. Peripherals
I do not need Windows, but my parents requested a very clear and sharp monitor.  They are old and they are having a harder time looking and reading things.

5. Extras

I prefer Intel as it is what I've always worked with, but it you decide to do an AMD build at a significantly lower and better price point I might be persuaded.

Also I considered doing the G2538 as it is a cheap but easily overclocked chip and could work wonders.

Thanks guys I really appreciate your help!

the G2538 is a great choice.

Are you looking for a small form factor build? also do you need a wireless card thrown in with it? I know of a great one for $30.

The above build would be a cheaper option, though youi could probably drop the ram down to 4GB and shrink the SSD to 120GB and put that into a nicer case.

Small form factor would be nice, and wireless card is a definite yes.

Then I highly suggest this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007GMPZ0A/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=

I use it in my build, have not had a single issue with it yet.

I suggest just installing the bare driver, and not the stupid wireless configuration tool as windows will let you connect to networks without it.

This is pretty OP for a browsing build, you can drop the RAM to 4GB, change the PSU but keep the monitor.

It's still overkill IMO, you don't need an overclocking board for web browsing, and you don't need that SSD either, I mean for documents, web browsing, and random applications you can make do with 60gb or maybe if you'd like to push it 30gb.

What I would build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fvxbVn

You could switch the case back to the bitfenix one if you want something smaller.

Gaming Rig - Excalibur - CPU: i5 6600k @ 4.1GHz, CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo, Mobo: MSI Gaming M3 RAM: 16GB Corsair @2400MHz, GPU: EVGA 1060, Case: NZXT Phantom Full Tower (Red)

My Virtualization Server - Dell R710: 2x X5570s @ 2.93GHz with 32GB DDR3 RAM [Web Server, OSX, Plex, Reverse Proxy]

I love computers, gaming, coding, and photography! Be sure to quote me so I can respond to your post!

I just thought the bitfenix looked really damn sexy in the picture of it.

Usually the case is a huge choice as its the part of the computer you will see the most.

True, I was assuming it would be behind the monitor, out of sight etc, but like I said if you want something smaller and nicer you could stick with that bitfenix which I do have to agree is pretty sexy.

Some may question why I added an optical drive. They probably like to watch movies and videos on a cd if not then don't buy it.

Alright thanks guys! I'm definitely leaning towards a G3258 now with all the builds with it in it. I'll spend some time and make something from all of these that overall I like. Thanks a ton guys!
