does it still run fast?

yes

What should I do after I done installing my ssd?

you boot into windows and you will see in the 'computer' tab of windows explorer that there is another empty drive there, that is your new SSD.

right click it, format it, and now you can put your files on it.

If it doesn't show up right away you may need to download a tool to install a special driver, like with my Seagate Barracuda, I had to download a program from them.

Hard drive don't need drivers, the SATA controller uses a driver though. Some manufacturers supply software that you can use to check how the hard drive is running, but it's not needed to use the drive.

You don't need driver or programs for a hard drive...

You just need to go into administrative tools and format the drive and assign a letter to it. You can do all this in windows.

Well at least when I installed my Barracuda I had to install SeaTools, you know what I just thought about that you only need it for hard drives larger than 1tb.

No...

My 2TB barracuda worked without any software.

I think you only need those tools for booting from drives over 2.2TB

That's odd with my rigs specs which are in my sig I had to install SeaTools in order to use it as a regular drive. It was a 1.5tb Barracuda.

Did you format it to the correct storage type NTFS or AHCI?

It didn't show up in computer right away so I had to install seatools and format it from there. I'm pretty sure it is the same as windows' disk manager thing can't think of the name now.
