should i clean my rads before installing my new builds

hey guys i was wondering if i need to clean my new rads before installing them?

 

and what could happen if i don't?

It recommend to flush them a few times with tap water then rinse it using distilled water to make sure no metal particles or flakes during the manufacturing process are left inside there which can get into you loop for other components there is no need to flush them beforehand if they are new components. If they are old you can flush them using a mild vinegar/waterbath to remove any residue or anything left from the previous loop.
