Hello,

I have a i5 4690k, and when at stock, with 2 7950s, they get bottlenecked in bf4 at 60% usage. When I oc it to 4.6ghz, I get 85-95% usage in BF4 64p Rush. Is it normal that in bf4 this i5 will bottleneck?

Thanks

in bf4 it is not likely its probably an optimization issue

i had a similar issue with bf4 running 2x7950's cfx

disable cfx and see what your framerates are like with just one card

may be poor cfx optimization by EA or driver issue.

4690k will NOT bottleneck 2x7950 cfx

I get 50fps and 120-1fps with CF. My CPU is 100% load. And when I oc I get less frame drops, no oc is 60-70fps 4.6ghz oc is 120-40fps. Both have CPU usage at 100% and no oc has GPUs at 60 oc has GPUs at 85-90... How can I fix this? I have latest drivers.

what resolution you run at?

im not sure how to fix your issue.  Overclocking my cpu did not give me any performance gains in bf4 unless i was playing single player.

i had issues with 7950's cfx. driver issues and poor results in bf4. I went back to Nvidia and haven't incurred any problems thus far.

hitting 100% CPU load to play 1 game seems rather odd, and its the latest i5 too, not some cpu from 5 years ago. what are your cpu temps when you overclock? sounds like thermal throttling or an unstable OC.
