I'm doing a project on school on how video games effect the economy.... anybody have anything?

Did you check wikipedia? You should be able to look for all the developper and look how much they hired, produce money etc etc etc

Dunno what level of school you're doing.. but Wikipedia isn't a valid source and that CNBC video is from 2010. Keep an eye on how reliable, valid and current your sources are. Especially when talking in relation to something as dynamic as the economy, you need to focus on data that up to date.

there are several aspects to this, the money made buy the sales, the money spent in development, the time spent by the people playing these games which could have been used to produce something of value(opportunity cost).
