RAM clearance on hyper 212 evo?

Hey everyone, so I've just bought this motherboard (Gigabyte GA-Z97X SLI):

I'd like to cool my CPU with the cooler listed in the topic title. I also have a set of G. Skill Ripjaws ram:

Could anyone tell me if I'd be able to use this RAM with this Mobo with the cooler, or will the fan/heatsink sit too low?

Cheers

Chris

If you mount it vertically there should be no problem.

By which you mean blowing air out of the top of the case?

Sorry to bombard you with questions, but in that case would you put the fan at the top or the bottom of the heatsink?

I would just put the RAMs in slots 2 & 4 so it's away from the fan.

Does it matter which slots I use, (1 & 3 vs 2 & 4) so long as they are colour coordinated?

If there is a performance hit at all, which i doubt their is, you wouldn't notice it.

As long as it's plugged in you'll be fine

Edit: Assuming your ram isn't dead

Mount it so that air is being blown from front to back.

Hyper 212 EVO will clear pretty much anything, since the fan can be adjusted up and down to fit perfectly on top of your RAM
