HEY!!

I want to build a REALLY cheap pc. It's just for internetting and youtubing and stuff like that. I'll probably load windows 10 preview onto it. I want it to be sub AU$300 if possible. I don't need an optical drive, HDD or RAM.

Thanks in advance

Don't use 10, it's broken and buggy as hell.

Intel based mATX : http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/8bn76h

Intel based ITX: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/8Pykbv

AMD based mATX: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/CtmgCJ

AMD based ITX: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/VHvWK8

They all have plenty of wiggle room except for the ITX AMD system, extra parts can be added if need be though considering the use case a powerful system is really unnecessary.

Socket AM1 is what you want

they really are bleh though, and considering the pricing in Australia they aren't worth it when you can get similarly priced more powerful parts from AMD side.

Honestly with prices that low its almost best to start buying OEM machines.  Or even on sale barebone's kits.  Windows 10 is probably okay for a cheep machine, as long as its not your primary.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!

It's not my main rig. I Just want something that I can mess around with stuff like windows 10 without having to worry about anything going wrong.

EDIT: Also, where I live there's no desktops for that price that would be as good as the sugested systems on this post

The build posted above by Lord pantaloons works great,

You can upgrade the APU a bit, though, and get this: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/P6n76h

Good for video playback, you can even fit it in an M350 if you get a pico PSU, and VESA mount it to the back of a screen for a really tiny PC.

That's a really good idea. I'll have a look around to see if I can find those parts

Its a bit above. The APU is enough to browse and maybe even play a few games (low end though)

And i had a bit of budget over so why not get a great looking case.

Its a bit above. The am1 processor should be well enough to browse and 4gb will help especially with chrome!

And i had a bit of budget over so why not get a great looking case.

The APU's a bit underpowered for what he can get, though

(Also OP didn't require RAM or a HDD)

An A4 would make use of a more powerful CPU and GPU, so he'll even be able to do some gaming (maybe indie games) and do more with his PC, especially if Windows 10 requires more CPU power in the end.

Although of OP wants a pretty case to show off or to lower his budget even more, an AM1 system would be the best for shaving off $70, and it'll be good enough for what you want to do!
