MATX vs ITX

Hello there everyone, I just had a few questions about the next build that i'm going to be doing soon; is there any performance loss if I choose to go with ITX rather than MATX? I really like the small form factor of the cases, but i'm just having a hard time choosing between MATX and ITX.

MATX gives you the option of having an additional card other than your graphics card (or two GPUs) while MITX supports mainly one PCI16x slot. That's really the main difference.
