Hi,

First official question on the forum...I used the search and I haven't been able to find anything that would give me a solid answer.

Early first quarter, I'm hopefully upgrading to the new AOC 34inch ultra wide monitor. (3440x1440 resolution)

I have a friend that has 1440p monitor(Asus PB278Q) and even with a 780ti he seem to have 30 frames lower in most games due to the higher resolution.

I have a GTX 780 Classified right now, and since the 780 series seems to be getting cheaper and cheaper every min. Would it be worth upgrading to SLI before the classified cards disappear? (So I can drive the monitor at a decent frame rate in upcoming games.)

My pc specs:

Intel I7 4770k 3.5ghz
Asus Maximus VI Hero
16 gb Corsair Ram(1600 mhz)
GTX 780 Classified
1000w Coolermaster Powersupply
250 GB Samsung 840 Evo Solid State Drive(OS Drive)
120 GB Corsair Solid State Drive
1 Terabyte Western Digital Drive
(Blue)

Intel I7 4770k 4.2ghz, Asus Maximus VI Hero,16 gb Corsair Ram(1600 mhz), GTX 780 Classified, 1000w EVGA Supernova Powersupply,Corsair h100i
250 GB Samsung 840 Evo Solid State Drive(OS Drive), 120 GB Corsair Solid State Drive, 1 Terabyte Western Digital Drive

I agree, buy one before they're gone/go up in price again because of low inventory! I just bought myself another Twin Frozr 780ti 'cause it was so cheap. Also, welcome to the forum!  :P
