Processor throttling graphics car?

I like to post on forums. On one gaming forum, a member was posting about his new build. He was getting a GTX 980 and was debating between an I7 or the 8350. I helped out but someone said that the 8350 would throttle the 980. I'd that a thing?

I think the term you're looking for is  "Bottleneck" and no a 8350 will not bottleneck a 980.

8350 will be fine with a 980. Hell, it would be fine with dual 980's.

It's all the rage now! If your car start running slow, get a better HSF for your CPU. Or even better, water cooling.

As above they will be fine.... Surprised the Intel fanboys have not stormed the thread yet spamming "OMFG BOTTLENECK UNLESS ITS INTEL!" as they usually do.
