Hey guys,

My older brother has moved back in from University. He has basically taken over my room but I have access to my desk. Unfortunately, this means I cannot access my PS3 and therefore my blu ray collection. So I have decided to move my PS3 to my desk. However I realise that my monitor only has a VGA and DVI port - Not a HDMI port.

So what can I do? All options are considerable except abandoning my blu ray collection.

Tbh that's kind of rare. In my experience, it's always been a DVI to VGA adapter that's bundled with every card.

They aren't actually bundled with many cards, since most modern GPUs have HDMI.

 

However, an HDMI to DVI connector would do the job. You can use a USB headset like the Corsair Vengeance 1500s for audio.

No, it's all digital signal, so nothing will happen to the picture.

He does have one. He is in my room until such time when he can afford to move out which from the looks of things doesn't seem to be too far away.

Signal is still digital, so i don't think there will be, maybe a bit lossy , But it's not gonna hog the entire thing to a shitstorm, you'll barely notice, you gonna need to order the adapter from newegg or get it from a near by IT retail store..
