that new logitech keyboard

what do you guys think about that new logitech orion keyboard that will combath the corsair RGB and similar razer products. its a very exciting time to go keyboard shopping isnt it. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I'm excited. Logitech is promising a lot of things and I hope they deliver. The key caps are interesting, very futuristic. Some people may like it and some may not. When it comes down to it, it's the software that makes or breaks these RGB keyboards for me.

It looks.. uhm.. interesting, i wish they made a mechanical gaming keyboard that would be super clean, something that would work nicely with the G700.

yea i hate that hand rest. hopefully it can be taken out.

Then it sunk into me that I didn't have MX Switches...

yeah but i honestly dont think mx switches are a must anymore, if logitech developed these switches and they are actually good then whats it matter. i mean i dont think they can legally pull numbers out of their ass so 70 millions keystrokes per switch is nice so probably no quality issues. im going to withhold my judgement about the switches until i try them

I am beyond excited for the G910 actually, all of my periperals are logitech, except my headset (turtle beaches, XP 500's) 

 

gotta g600 MMO mouse

a M570 trackball mouse (daily driver)

a K 800 wireless keyboard (wireless and backlit o_o) 

and a G13 gamepad 

 

and i do like the look of the thing, its not "professional" which i like, and the odd corners sorta match the G13s look, and since the G13, G600, and G910 are all RGB i can have infinite fun with colors :)

 

and i find the screen on the g13 very useful, and is some games if gives you useful stats and functionality :) so being able to use my phone as a screen on the 910 will be cool :)

The new one looks a bit too "gamery" for me and the price is crazy, I'm still waiting for a G15 (v2) with mech switches and RGB backlighting... that's all I want... clean look, small LCD and single row of G keys so as to not make it too big but use the G15 v1 or G910s volume roller and media keys... pretty much a G710 with a G15 LCD and RGB backlighting.
