Runescape has been a game that has been around for a fair amount of years now.

i am asking for all runescapers to join me for some possible bossing, questing and maybe even develop in to a clan at some point.

Haven't played RuneScape for a long time now. RS just turned bad after all the major updates.

there new graphics updates and ui update are gonna make the game so much more... however there HTML5 update is laggy as hell.

its still fun to play aslong as u play with others. im in a clan atm in the top 30 but they are all l33tist and dont understand people with small banks.

i just want to build a clan from ltt cause i think it will be nicer

Tried Runescape but it was far, far, far too grindy for me. Sitting there doing the same monotonous things over and over....I have better uses for my time.

I outgrew the RS playstyle long ago. The friends I met in the early days have long since quit, and looking back, that was the only enjoyable part: playing with good friends. I've tried to get back into the game many times, but end up quitting again after a month.

I feel RS had begun to fall after 2010/11. Plus they added the hot key combat thing and it doesn't work.

Eh, Runescape is horrible now, especially after EoC. 2007 RS is ok but the whole play-style is out dated, boring and grindy with little reward.

 

It's a dead shell of its former self.

Runescape is pretty grindy, but I dont train much, I just do minigames and quests. I only grind when I dont meet requirements of quests or minigmes.

I use to play RS during the years 2007-2010(September 11) but the updates just made the game crap for me. I wouldn't see me going back to play RS, just because theres more games i could play instead of playing RS. Ever since I downloaded steam during 2011 August i have never ever opened RS/been to website ever since.

So you reported my alias, an alias that I already use on all botting forums, an alias that is not used on Runescape, an alias that I use on Reddit to post on antibot threads as a probotter. That sounds incredibly effective. By the way, my accounts are all 1/1/1 and I only use them as mules. They can ban me all they want.

And besides, they can take legal action against you, you are breaking the terms of service.

Actually, more people play Runescape because of botting. There are 10s of thousands more accounts playing the game because of botting. No, they cannot take legal action against me for breaking ToS, that's not illegal.

They can if they deem it necessary or worth their effort. Most cases, banning is easier.

As for saying botting helps the game, it doesn't. Sure, it helps with supply and demand of common items, but other than that, bots are disruptive to normal players. Nobody likes playing a game riddled with bots even if the economy is aided by it.

I never said it was better for the game, I just said more people play because of botting. It's not illegal to break a games terms of service.

haven't played runescape since eoc, i used to be in a clan called "the imperial legion" may return to runescape 3 but im not sure yet.

It is, actually.  Your agreement to the terms of service is your permission to access their site and use their product, and it constitutes a legally binding contract.  If you use a website or program in violation of the terms of service, then you are using it without authorization, and you can be tried in civil court if they feel like it.

It is not illegal unless what you are doing to break the ToS is illegal. If their ToS states that using copyrighted material on the website as your is a violation, and you break this term, it is illegal as using copyrighted material as your own is illegal. If their ToS states I am not allowed to swear, and I do, it is not illegal as swearing is not illegal.
