HD 558 vs AKG612 Pro

So I am buying new headphones cause my G430 is gonna crap out soon. I listen to music, play games and watch movies. I know the ATH M50s are good but bad for gaming so I am deciding with these two. The HD558s are 50 dollars cheaper but they are pretty old and the AKG612 seem more comfortable. They are gonna be powered by Fiio E10K

Just saying that the M50's don't suck at gaming but for $300 (Price I found for AKG612's) I would get the ATH-AG's

I cant comment on the AKG612 but I have owned a pair of HD558's for over 2 years now.  They are absolutely fantastic headphones.  

You can get lost in the music.  Watch out though they have a lot of "sound leak".  Its how open headphones are supposed to be but still something to consider.

If you're interested in the 558 because it is cheaper, then go with a 518 as it is MUCH cheaper while still sounding similar to the 558/598. The K612 is only more comfy if you have a larger than average head or ears.

AKG K612's are better but need some kind of amping.

Is the Fiio e10k enough to power them?
