Steam In-Home Streaming: remotely launch games and stream?

Go to solution Solved by Shroomster,

Can you launch the game remotely though?

Yes. Think of it as remote desktop with less lag.

Has anyone tested this and tried to launch the game from the receiving pc and stream it without having to interact physically with the host?

Yes it works, it'd be kinda stupid if it didn't.

All you need is to have steam running on both computers

You just need to have both PCs on and logged into Steam. Then you can just hop on the receiving PC, and click 'Stream' for whatever game you want. No interaction with the host PC required.
