Yes, that's good :)

Are these good idle tempts? Its 45 degree celcius on a 290x

The ambient is 32 degrees celcius now (yes i am melting halp)

I'm in 25*c ambient right now and the GPU is sitting about 44-46*c idle, altho when in true idle (not browsing or anything) it gets down to 40*c.

Aussie Summers very close, you can already feel it.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Well, for starters AMD does say that if that card reaches 95°C while gaming, that's perfectly 'normal'. 

 

I'm in 25*c ambient right now and the GPU is sitting about 44-46*c idle, altho when in true idle (not browsing or anything) it gets down to 40*c.

That's cute mate. Where I live, it usually averages at 46°C in the summer, my GPU reaches 101°C and turns itself off. 

Btw, going to upgrade to a 750Ti soon, to combat the situation...

I know xD but experiencing 30 degrees year round sucks already, cant imagine living in your country. I'll probably hole up in  a fridge and cry in a corner with my rig D:
