I just ordered a GTX 980 (from EVGA) on Amazon and it said temporarily out of stock. How long should I expect to wait?

A decade...no, seriously, I wouldn't imagine for it to take too long. Although, some have waited up to a whole month.

Depends on if you ordered it directly from amazon or from a reseller on amazon. It can be much faster for amazon to have stocks than a reseller, especially if it's a small one. Best thing is to call them to see if you can have that info. They probably will tell you that they don't have the details and that it depends on the manufacturer (EVGA).

My local retailer gets their next shipment of EVGA cards on October 15th. Whether or not that is relevant to you it may say something about the timeframe.

My guess would that you will be waiting for maybe two to three weeks or so. 

 

Just keep waiting my friend..its worth it at the end...maybe....

I just want to know how long my EVGA step up is going to take for the 980. I keep getting misleading information from them which is getting frustrating.
