Hard drive for external enclosure

Hey guys,

I am looking for a 2TB hard drive to use in an external enclosure. I am unsure of which brand and model to buy. I have been thinking of using a WD blue drive due to the relatively low cost but if you guys have any better suggestions they would be much appreciated.

Well the WD Blue doesn't have a 2TB capacity, so your best option is the Seagate Barracuda. 

Or you could get a WD Green drive, but I stay by my Barracuda.

Usually 7200RPM drives eat more power, i don't know the specs of your enclosure.

I guess whatever WD or seagate has to offer is good, I've used both brands and I can't complain. However I'm leaning to Toshiba nowadays, I never ever had a problem with those drives.

The WD Black is way too expensive, and the Red is designed for a NAS lol. 

Get the cheapest out of the Green and Barracuda.

Oh, since you're doing media a normal one will be fine
