Skyrim on an SSD

Hi all, I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the right Topic but here goes: I plan to run alot of mods for Skyrim, but I have steam installed on my hard drive. I have an SSD that only has Windows on it, would it be possible to download Skyrim and only Skyrim from my Steam library onto my SSD? If so, how? Thank you

Just install it on the ssd and set that as the location of it in steam.

when you tell steam to download the game it should let you chose the location before actually starting the download. (A window for it should come up)

Go to steam > setting > Downloads > STEAM LIBRARY FOLDERS > Add Library folder. And then when downloading the game choose that folder you just assigned.

As others have said, Steam gives you a choice where to put it. Skyrim is worth having on an SSD in my experience, so definitely put it there if you can.

What the others suggested seems to be the solution, but why do you plan to use your SSD for Skyrim. For the loading screens? If you are going to put some mods, it is true that enabling them may take some time, which may increase your loading times.

Keep in mind that future OS or software updates may take more storage space on your SSD and in some point you may experience storage shortage. Excessive read/write on a SSD may shorten the drive's life, which should be taken in consideration.
