Programs not using all CPU power it needs.

I have some applications that are well known to use a insane amount of CPU power (FSX look it up) and it only says it is using about 10-20% of my CPU in Task Manager (I7 4770) the program does not use hyperthreading but, it should still be reading up to 50% of the CPU power. I get bad frames in the game because, of these.

GT 610 (should be a GTX 970 in the next couple of weeks

CPU is managing what GPU is delivering. If GPU delivers few data, CPU wouldn't need to process much.

 

Maybe you are getting more performance with iGPU.
