Hi guys I have a quick question on volume control. I have an Asus Z87m-Plus motherboard which has the Realtek® ALC887 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC  . Currently I have 2 of the rear input filled with my Logitech Z623 sound system plugged into the 'Line out' jack and a separate subwoofer which is being run through an amplifier plugged into the 'C/Sub' jack. When I use the volume control in windows 8.1 It controls both of these at the same time. I was wondering if there is anyway that I can have a separate volume slider for each of the jacks that i am using?

Are you trying to set the relative level, or do you really want to set the volume independently?

If you want to adjust the relative level of each channel but still want them to move together with the master volume control, you can try software means like EQ APO.

Why can't you use the hardware knobs on your speakers/sub by the way?

The logitech's have their own volume knob but the separate subwoofer is powered through a car amplifier so it doesn't have a volume knob. But I'll try EQ APO. Thank you
