i heard something about a 285x tonga that pushes a 290 aside, but I don't believe anything about AMD at the moment. they destroyed their ability to create credible hype (for a while) after the India nonsense on twitter.

R9 3900XT | Tomahawk B550 | Ventus OC RTX 3090 | Photon 1050W | 32GB DDR4 | TUF GT501 Case | Vizio 4K 50'' HDR

It's pretty good. For India. But there's been no leaks.

I prognosticate a 390X with 2816 SP @ 1.1GHz, 512-bit 4/8GB GDDR5 @ 5.5GHz but based on GCN 1.2. Maybe 15% better performance in nearly the same power envelope (275W). The rumored stock water cooler could make that fairly cool.

Other option is that they're waiting for the 20nm process to be available and plan to beat Nvidia to the draw there. In which case it'll probably be near 3584 SP.

If they do release a 20nm based chip, then all nvidia customers that bought 980 ecc.. are going to regret it especially if the cost is going to be similar to 980. I honestly couldn't care less abou power consumption.
