GTX 770 or 970

So the GTX 770s are going down in price a lot with the MSI 770 going for $240.00. My question is should I go with that or save up and extra $100 and get a 970. I am currently on a budget so please list pros and cons and what you would do. Thanks!

Plain and simple the 970 is faster and requires less power though that does not invalidate the fact that the 770 is still a good card and getting one for $240 is nucking futs.

The 970 is a lot more powerful and uses less power, but if you really want it right now go with the 770 your not going to miss out on too much.

I say go for the 970.  The 970 with new drivers and a bit of OC / tweaking on Afterburner will yield performance of a 780ti as been shown in reviews all across the web so far.  I say go for the 970 as down the road you can add another and the sli they've been doing damn near close to a 295x2 as shown on... this review at techpowerup --->  http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_970_SLI/6.html   

So, all in all the 970 in most situations performs nearly as close as the 780ti, maybe a frame or two less or maybe more, but yeah.  970 for sure and you can SLI down the road.
