Purchasing a Motherboard

Hey all,

when buying a motherboard, what is important to look for / what are you buying.

I'm not sure if that makes any sense so say i am looking at motherboard A and B, what are deciding factors between the two?

Thanks Guys :)

It doesn't really matter motherboard i get, as long as it has the same chipset socket as my CPU and more than 2 pci-express slots just in case i think of doing a SLI/Crossfire config. Other than that, it really depends on the features of the motherboard like the gaming 5 from MSI. The motherboard reaches out to people who aren't going to buy an audio card, and focuses on its on-board audio system, which i think is awesome, but that's me.
