Xeon thermal paste

I have recently bought two X5460 xeon for my server. I know how to apply thermal paste to a normal sized CPU though as the Xeon is bigger I didn't know if you used a different method to the pea in the middle. I don't really want to fry these processors as it's taken 2 weeks for them to get here from America.
