Planned New Build.

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

Purely gaming on a 3x1080p set up.

Its a christmas present to myself.

Abit overkill?

Very much overkill. A gaming only pc will not benefit from that Cpu or 32GB Ram. If you want to go X99 then I would suggest the 5820K and 16GB Ram.

The EVGA Supernova G2 is also a better power supply. The 750W will be plenty for SLI.

Hi Guys

Would like some opinions/sugestions on my planned build.

The GTX 970 is good value for money over the GTX 980.

If you do want X99 then it is more expensive. As you don't need an i7 or even 16GB Ram for just gaming, then only you can decide if it is worth the extra outlay or not.

CPU Cooler: Corsair H105 73.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  (£81.59 @ Aria PC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-X99-GAMING 5 ATX LGA2011-3 Motherboard  (£191.99 @ Aria PC)
