How should I connect the cables with this monitor to the GPU?

ZeferiniX

I'm planning to get 3 ASUS VX239H while waiting for GSync monitors to be mainstream so I can get them at a cheaper price compared to that ASUS ROG Swift which is the only GSync monitor available in my country which costs $1004.91. F*ck the tax right?

Anyways I'm gonna do 2-Way SLI GTX 980 and got bothered by the ports.

GTX 980 have:

-> Dual Link DVI-I

-> HDMI 2.0

-> 3x DisplayPort 1.2

while

ASUS VX239H have:

-> HDMI/MHL x 2

-> D-Sub

How should I connect the wires to the GPU? I'd like to game on 3 monitors at 60+ FPS but I have no idea about these cables :mellow:

DisplayPort > HDMI

You just need three of them and you're good to go.

Just like this:

I use these. But the only issue I run into with my 3 monitors is that they dont make a proper handshake when telling the monitors to wake from standby. As such I need to manually turn them off>on when i start up or if they drop connection. Small niggle that does not have any impact on me :P

Like, if you make the PC go to sleep, you need to turn them all off and then on again to get a display on them?

Just the same as any other cable, it's just a different connector on one side.

 If i do a restart/sleep i need to manually turn off>on the monitos yes. As they go into standby mode when they get no signal. Having to do it once a day really does not bother me haha.

Hmm, never heard of that happening to anyone, though I'm fairly sure it wouldn't be because of the cables.
