You can do the 7950 + 280

(For a better sync without wasted potential, sticking with 280's (non-x) and 7950's are best)

7970 and 280x

7870 and 270x

7850 and 270

7790 and 260x

Anything under this and you shouldn't be cross firing :)

No, two different GPU's. Completely different architectures.

Basically only if they are a 100% rebrand, you are good for future reference. Always check online first with us or OCN of course.
