SLI on an MATX board, bad idea?

My GTX 770 Twin Frozr currently doesn't go above 76 degrees at 100% load. (BF4 on ultra) How much will adding a second GPU affect the temperatures of both cards? They will be separated by 1 PCI Lane (I think). The board is the MSI Z97-M and the case is an Arc Mini R2.

Thanks,

Blueprint

Obviously it will be higher but it wont be any worse than on a atx board aslong as you have some decent cooling

The temps will be higher, but as long as you have decent air flow in your case, you'll be alright.

mATX exists, so that you can have a smaller computer, and still get two GPU's in there.

What type of fans would you recommend and how many? I currently have 3 fans (the ones that came with my case)

For a budget, the Corsair fans are pretty decent.

As for amount, some in the front, one in the back, and maybe some in the top. Nothing to extravagant.

As long as your case has a bit of air moving through it you will be just fine.

I really love mATX SLI configs, the density of power is just really cool to me.
