Yeah, but we're not strapped to the balls with cash... A pair of 20USD cans is already considered a luxury l where I live...

 

Checked head-fi for the NE-600X... Good reviews... Considering this one for myself...

She's a kid so I can't get anything too expensive... Main factors for the purchase are functionality, looks, and durability... As I said in the OP, she's no audiophile, and all she wants is a decent pair that she can call her own...

Then go for creative ep630 I have been using them for 6 or 7 years.But Bose IE2 is my recommendation for a gift,I got it as a gift from my sis its very comfortable,sounds good and reasonably sturdy
