Change Processor?

Go to solution Solved by EcoBoost,

No. With dedicated graphics, the iGPU will be disabled, so the 7850K won't be producing any more heat then the 860K

So I have an AMD A10-7850K. AMD recently released the AMD Athlon X4 860K, which is the same CPU without the graphics. I'm going to get a GPU soon, so I was wondering if I should change to the 860K to lower heat produced and increases over clocks. What do you guys think?

Well it is an AMD Processor... So changing it would still keep it bad... If it's probably Piledriver/ Bulldozer/ Steamroller

And it appears you don't have a GPU...

Im gonna have to go with a  No.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

Intel Fanboy detected.

BTW a 760k I used with a GTX 780 (lan PC, is sold now) crushed my friends system with an 8350. CPUs for most games today are irrelevant anyways. There are only a select few that make a big difference. Austin Evans made a video about it recently, except I think he used a Titan (or a 780ti).
