So I recently replace my CPU from a AMD 4130 to a AMD 8350 and added a Hyper 212.I couldn't figure out how to mount it vertically so I installed it horizontal.I thought at first my hard drive was messed up because it was random spikes and not constant. My GPU gets really hot to the touch on games. However im not sure what the temps should be for it.I have a GTX 550 TI.Is it my graphics card overheating or my CPU.Whats the issue ? Could I have installed the CPU Cooler Wrong ?

There are tons of things that could cause frames to drop. Scenes of intense graphics, movement, color, cut scenes, loading scenes, etc. If your issue only comes when you stream, then I suggest you keep turning down the resolution settings on your stream until it stops.

Another option just occurred to me. If you care more about your viewing pleasure while streaming, and still want to stream at the higher resolution, open up task manager and set your game process's priority to high or real time. Follow this guide for a brief how - to. It was made in Windows XP, but the buttons are still all the same.

Cheers.

Don't you understand the question, the fps spikes happens after this upgrade. If he plays the same games with the same streaming software and the same internet speed, and this cpu upgrade is the only difference in the setups between fps spikes and not then this would surely be an issue with the new cpu? or at least it would be weird. This is so wierd

Could you try swapping back to your old cpu and see if this fixes the problem? if so id use the warranty, send back the new cpu and get a new one!
