Hello guys , so as i hope to do at somepoint is to develop my own game for multiplatforms

So i learned my programming languages ( python, java, know some C)-- and i am planning making my game on UNITY

So i ask a big company( Swamp Attack) they are the ones who made that game to help me on what programmes should i use

They told me to use photoshop for textuaring anf for modelling and animation use maya( i have a little experience with maya)

But my problem is i dont know how to draw anything in photoshop - ( bassicly i want to create some characters look like the ones in swamp attack)

Can any help me or teach me ( using tutorials on how to draw)

First character ====> a funny pigeon

Thanks , hope i hear feedback :)

You will probably need a tablet for the drawings, I'd say a not so expensive Wacom Bamboo. Then you can move on with tutorials on YouTube.

Why don't you make it a group project? Find people on Game Dev forums who enjoy creating sprites and ask them whether they'd be interested in joining your project.

It's always fun to get multiple people involved and have it be a group project

i wish i could but where will if found those people and work voluteer for a project?

Any one on this forum? :P

Did you try the Unity forum? I'd say that's worth asking on or otherwise try the opengameart forum. Some really skilled designers there.

i will try both

I just saw your profile

Nice you are a game developer

But the problem if you wanted lets say will you work as a voluteer?

I haven't done game dev in such a long time and I'm too busy working on other projects. I'm literally overflown with other stuff aswell so I don't really have the time.

This also reminds me, game dev does take allot of time so you can't get something done within a few months so it's worth making sure that you have the time to start a project. Unless if you're trying to learn the basics then have a mess about with game development libraries.

Duuuude, you are a fat troll, aren't ya?

On the other hand - when you get something to work and you can show people and you know that you WILL FINISH and NOT ABANDON the project... Sure, why not.

it was just a joke to put it in kickstart

As i said i will try to find people and start to develop in christmas
