Hi guys,

I want some opinion on some of the stuff i want to buy, recently i acquired an GTX 780ti ( on the day before the gtx980 announcement :-( )

and now instead of going to the latest i decide to buy whats good now instead of waiting for the prices of the x99, i7-5xxxK and DDR4 drop.

and instead of buying a gtx980 i am adding a second gtx 780ti to the mix.

so the hardware below is what i am think of buying for my new rig, do you guys have any opinion about any of the hardware below i should replace for a better one?

My budget is £1000 and the setup below will cost me £923.72

2 x 250GB Samsung 840 EVO Basic SSD SATA III 6Gb/s 7mm Slim 3-core MEX Controller Read 540MB/s Write 520MB/s 512MB 97K IOPS

1 x NZXT H440 Mid Tower Case Matte Black with Red Trim with Side Window

1 x Corsair Memory Vengeance Pro Series Red 16GB DDR3 2400 MHz Dual Channel Desktop

1 x Intel Core i7 4790K CPU + Corsair H80i

1 x MSI Z97 GAMING 9 AC Intel Socket 1150 Performance Motherboard ATX

NOTE: my current rig has a CX750W power supply

I appreciate any feedback. thanks guys

You can always use the EVGA step up program (that is if you have an EVGA 780ti)

Gear: PS4 with custom skin // Astro A50 Xbox edition to fit colour scheme // Oppo PM-3 Planar Magnetic Closed Back Headphones // OnePlus One 64GB sandstone

Other stuffs: Acer aspire 128GB SSD 10GB RAM // MacBook Pro 13" 500GB SSD 16GB RAM // A 2009 iMac 21"

@Leonard - I mostly shop at amazon.co.uk and at scan.co.uk

@yannickverc - the graphic card i have is a ZOTAC GTX780Ti ZT-70505-10P OC

Oh that sucks. I bought a 780ti too recently, but I got an EVGA one so I can step up to a 980 soon

-snip-

I would get a single 480GB ssd, one of your choice, and i would get either a NZXT x61 or x41, A Cooler Master Seidon or Nepton would be good too.

A water-cooled mid-tier gaming PC.

I always find dabs or box.co.uk cheaper most of the time.

i would go with a single SSD 500gb, you'll probably save a bit of money as well.

You could always return it and buy a 980 :P

Thhats fine, i belive that the next purchase when it comes to upgrade the graphic card will be the TI version of it if comes out.

The double SSD is so i can make a Raid0, I already have a 500GB SSD Corsair M4

I will look at the neptune, looks great.

A note on the hardware, i was having a look and i am thinking in replace the MSI Z97 GAMING 9 AC with an Asus ROG Maximus VII Hero
